Heart & Soul: The Story Behind Cor Et Anima

Cor Et Anima—Latin for "Heart and Soul"—is more than a matchmaking service. It is a mission to restore depth, authenticity, and true connection in dating.

Founded by Viviennne Shirin, Cor Et Anima was born from a deeply personal journey through the pitfalls of modern dating. After experiencing the emptiness of swipe culture and superficial connections, she realized the need for a matchmaking service that blends psychology, emotional intelligence, and authenticity.

To further this vision, Vilma Swahn, a Clinical Psychologist with a Master’s degree and extensive experience in relationship coaching, joined the company. Together, they have developed a transformative approach that combines scientific, research-backed matchmaking, personalized coaching to break toxic patterns, and curated, high-quality introductions designed for deep compatibility.

Vivienne Shirin - “At Cor Et Anima, the journey isn’t just about finding a partner—it’s about becoming the person who naturally attracts the love you truly deserve.”

The problem with modern dating

"Modern dating isn’t just frustrating—it’s fundamentally broken. Dating apps, designed for convenience, often lead to more disappointment than fulfillment, creating emotional strain rather than meaningful connections. Research shows they contribute to body image concerns, increased dissatisfaction, and disordered eating . They also heighten feelings of objectification and insecurity, leading to self-esteem struggles. Beyond that, many experience emotional burnout—fatigue, ghosting, and a cycle of unfulfilling interactions.

At Cor Et Anima, we redefine modern matchmaking by moving beyond surface-level attraction and passive swiping. Our approach is scientific, intentional, and deeply personal. We help individuals break free from unhealthy relationship patterns, develop emotional intelligence for deep, lasting connections, and meet high-quality, like-minded partners who align with their values. Dating should be about authenticity, emotional fulfillment, and real compatibility—and that's exactly what we help our clients achieve."
